- Strangefire is a psychedelic rock band from Texas, featuring Mike Ash on manic depressive vocals, guitars from space, words of disgust & Beatz . Accompanied by Tak! on synth/keyboards, Vocal manipulation, sound distortion, beatz & the creation of all Strangeart. They have 6 releases with Giglet Productions... Their first release, Zipper Confetti (2004) recieved rave reviews. While their second Cd, Shazbot Munkie (2005) found the band on a much more mellow plain. They have received worldwide recognition as one of the most original acts on the Psychedelic Rock scene. They have also broken ground with their SoundClick exclusive..the web only release of The Pod, a 3 part EP in space, as well as the web only Scintilla Grey EP. Their fourth release, GUH? was unleashed in 2006, and included the single/video 'Radio Waves & Dinosaurs' and also spawned the 'Eucalyptus Teeth' video(check out Austin Sound for Review).
